Hi Katherine, it seems you are referring to the Rubber Chicken Hide and Prank; all devices can be tested before preparing by simply pushing the button and youll hear a noise. -- once you are ready you need to remove the tab and hide it and then you need to firmly press the play button to start; this is so you can place it and start when you are ready. It will be silent so press it firmly 2-3 times. Most likely the 2 that made no sound just need to have the start button pressed. Feel free to email with any concerns or questions.
